The 2010 Designer Charity Event (DCE), Cosmo Couture, was held at the Woolly Mammoth Theater in Washington DC. This year’s event was a juried competition and charity benefit in which local design firms partnered with industry manufacturers to create high fashion inspired by the international community residing in Washington DC. Each firm selected a country to inspire its couture piece.
The beneficiary was My Sister’s Place, Inc., the largest and oldest non-profit agency exclusively serving battered women and their children in the District of Columbia.
