The Grand Opening of the Price Modern Baltimore showroom was a marvel and wonder to experience. From the big picture to the minute details, there was a surprise around every corner and plenty to do and see throughout the magnificently designed space from Gensler. Before the guests arrived, we toured the space with Gensler and executives from Haworth and Price Modern…
You began the event by arriving on the red carpet and signing your name on the giant canvas hanging from the side of the building. Your photo was taken by iPad-armed hosts that broadcast your image to the Bluescape wall once inside. Furniture by Haworth and many others adorn the two floors of an immaculate interior with multitudes of whimsical touches.
Among the attractions were Nina Charity (Aerialist), Copper Kitchen (Caterer), Laura Stokes (Harpist), Re:Fresh (DJ), Local Color Flowers (Florist), Clarus Glassboards (Caricature Artist), Dunbar High School Marching Band, and a fundraiser for the Baltimore Design School.
A special shout-out to the fine people instrumental in planning the evening – JW Radabaugh, Louise Humphreys, Heather Ricker, Lorna Marcuzzo and Brandi Roland. Thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of this fantastic event!
